Four England rugby players are under police investigation over claims of an incident in a hotel room after their hammering by the All Blacks in Auckland on Saturday night.
A complaint has been made to police by an alleged victim, believed to be a woman, and the England team management confirmed here last night that they are co-operating with inquiries.

'The implications of making that complaint have been discussed,' said Auckland police spokeswoman Noreen Hegarty.
'It is serious enough for the Criminal Investigation Bureau to be involved. Officers have spoken to the England team management and are receiving the appropriate level of co-operation.'
The incident is alleged to have taken place at the five-star harbourside hotel where the team stayed before flying here on Sunday for this week's second Test.
'The England team has been informed by Auckland police that an allegation has been made against four members of the playing squad,' said an RFU spokesman last night.
'Whilst no formal complaint has been made, we are co-operating with the police in their inquiries.'
England’s 17-strong management team includes their in-house lawyer, Richard Smith QC.
