English sides make it a treble celebration in the UEFA Cup

Everton, Bolton and Spurs all go through to the last 16 of the UEFA Cup, the Merseysiders leading the way with a 6-1 thrashing of Brann to win 8-1 on aggregate.

The reward for David Moyes' men is a tie against Fiorentina, while Spurs take on PSV and Bolton will play Sporting Lisbon.

GOAL, 90min: Everton 6 Brann 1 The rout is completed in some style as Andy Johnson fires a stunning shot into the top corner.

FULL TIME: At Spurs and Atletico, which means Juande Ramos' men hang on, and Bolton enjoy another night of European glory, though it was not one for the connoisseur.

GOAL, 72min: Everton 5 Brann 1 Yakubu completes his hat-trick in the simplest way with a tap-in from two yards after calamitous defending.

GOAL, 70min: Everton 4 Brann 1 Mikel Arteta's 20-yard shot takes a huge deflection to completely wrong-foot the keeper.

74min: Slavia are really going for it, and only a stunning save from Paul Robinson keeps Spurs ahead on aggregate, as he sees a 25-yard free-kick from Milan Ivana late, but gets a firm left hand on it.

GOAL, 60min: Everton 3 Brann 1 A consolation only for Brann, but huge embarrassment for Tim Howard as Petter Moen's 40-yard free-kick bobbles along the ground and past the keeper, who bizarrely is nowhere near being behind the shot.

67min: Spurs are rocking as David Strihavka's acrobatic half-volley hits the post with Paul Robinson nowhere near it.

GOAL, 54min: Everton 3 Brann 0 The Toffees are cruising as Yakubu takes a Steven Pienaar pass, beats his marker and slots the ball in.

Left foot forward: Jamie O'Hara puts Spurs one up against Slavia

GOAL, 51min: - Tottenham 1 Slavia 1 It's not all over at White Hart Lane as a bouncing cross from the left wing is allowed to go through to Matej Krajcik who finishes neatly at the far post.

Half-time: Everton and Spurs look to be cruising through, while Bolton are being given surprisingly little trouble by Atletico Madrid as they hold on to their slender lead.

GOAL, 41min: - Everton 2 Brann 0Andy Johnson puts the icing on the cake for Everton by running on to a through ball and thumping his shot into the corner.

GOAL, 36min: - Everton 1 Brann 0 Any lingering Everton doubts are put to rest as Yakubu makes up for his late return from Africa Cup of Nations duty with a superb finish just after Tim Howard had made a good save at the other end.

GOAL, 7min: - Spurs 1 Slavia 0 Jamie O'Hara gives Tottenham a two-goal cushion as his 20-yard shot deflects off Martin Latka to make it 3-1 on aggregate.

Spurs, Bolton and Everton take leads into the second leg of their last 32 ties against Slavia Prague, Atletico Madrid and SK Brann respectively.
