Espanyol chief tells Spurs: Luis Garcia is yours if you want him

Espanyol are waiting for an official approach from Tottenham Hotspur for Luis García and have lined up a replacement for the forward, according to the club's sporting director Paco Herrera.
Ready to move: Luis Garcia is set for Tottenham
He admitted that where the Spanish international will be next season is no longer in his club's hands because the bid expected would not be turned down.
Reports last week suggested that Tottenham had already made a £12m offer but that did not happen although contact was made and talks have begun between the two sides.
'The only case left open now is Luis' one. There is a situation that has happened, but there has been no firm offer," said Herrera.
'What happens there does not depend on us in any way.'
Reports on the Goal.com website suggest that Espanyol are aware Tottenham will meet their asking price for Luis García but only once they have off-loaded Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane or Darren Bent.
