Terry, already suffering from a toe injury and forced to wear a protective mask over the cheekbone fracture he suffered on Chelsea duty against Fulham last month, pulled up in training yesterday.

Catalogue of injuries: John Terry has toe, cheek and knee problems
Although it is thought the damage is not too serious, coach Steve McClaren has ordered his captain to have the injury checked out - and should find out the extent of the problem later today.
McClaren will have his fingers crossed for a positive outcome - given Terry's importance, not just as a member of the England team but also for his leadership qualities.
Not for the first time last week, McClaren said Terry epitomised what he wanted from a captain - and his presence will be crucial when England attempt to get the point they need from next Wednesday's encounter against Russia in Moscow that would virtually seal a place at Euro 2008.
Terry was probably going to be left out of Saturday's Wembley encounter with Estonia anyway - because he is one of four England players who know a booking at the weekend would rule him out of the meeting with Guus Hiddink's side.
Sol Campbell, who has not started a competitive game for his country in two years, is standing by to replace Terry - while Reading's Nicky Shorey is set to take over from Ashley Cole, another of the players on a yellow card.
McClaren has given his squad a day off from training today, so a number of London-based players may take the opportunity to return home before meeting up again this evening in readiness for a final training session tomorrow - when Alan Smith is expected to be fit to take part, after shaking off a knee injury.
