Fabregas tells Arsenal: I'll stay for life

Cesc Fabregas insists he is ditching plans to move to Spain so he can see his career out at Arsenal.

The Gunners midfielder has attracted interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid having the left the Nou Camp as a 16-yaer-old four years ago.

He always expected to return to Spain once he was an established player but has now changed his mind and said: "I'm happier every day and I love London, the people and the club.

"Every day I have more desire to stay here for a long time, the rest of my career.

"I have not had the fortune of playing in the Spanish League and right now I really identify with football in the Premier League because it's so passionate, fast, attacking and vibrant.

"It's the football I like the most."

Fabregas returns to the Arsenal line-up for tonight's Premier League clash at Reading after being rested for the midweek Champions League trip to Prague.

He used his break to visit the Nou Camp to see Barca beat Rangers 2-0.
