Fallon scales down riding to fight corruption allegations

Kieren Fallon will have to scale down his riding in Ireland and France for the rest of the year as he prepares to face trial at the Old Bailey tomorrow with ten others on charges of conspiracy to defraud customers of Betfair.

The case involving Fallon, fellow jockeys Fergal Lynch and Darren Williams, trainer Alan Berry, owner Miles Rodgers and six others, is expected to last between three and four months.

It will restrict the five-times champion jockey to mostly weekend rides.

Restricted to weekend: Fallon will fight in court
