Pele has hit out at the greed of football's modern-day superstars.
The Brazil legend says fans were falling out of love with players who do not show the same loyalty to the shirt they wear.
'Players have no connection with the fans,' said the three-time World Cup winner. 'The problem is that the player changes clubs for slightly more money.
Brazil's soccer legend Pele poses in front of an image of himself at the exhibition called King's Marks in Brasilia.
'All this change of coaches and players diminishes a little the love of the fan.
Speaking at an exhibition celebrating his life in sport which also marks the 50th anniversary of Brazil's World Cup win in 1958, Pele also criticised the current crop of Brazil stars' lack of commitment to the national team.
Attacking at the likes of Ronaldinho, Kaka and others who regularly miss international duty, Pele said: 'In the past, players did everything to go to national team.
'Today they are asking to get out of it. The press tries to create idols and calls the player a superstar after two matches.
'There is public pressure and the player is not yet prepared to deal with it.'
Brazil coach Dunga is under intense pressure after his side failed to score in their last three games, which included a draw against Argentina, defeat to Paraguay and their first-ever loss to Venezuela.
His team currently lie outside the automatic qualification places for the 2010 World Cup.
