Federer eases past Kiefer to extend winning run on grass to 58 matches

Roger Federer eased into the final of the Gerry Weber Open today with an impressive victory over home favourite Nicolas Kiefer.  

The top seed ran out a 6-1 6-4 winner in the semi-final clash to stretch his unbeaten run on grass to 58 matches.

A four-time champion in Halle, Federer will face either second seed James Blake or Philipp Kohlschreiber in tomorrow's final.
