But Sportsmail online understands that the 27-year-old is set to join Didier Drogba and Joe Cole in a three-pronged attack in Chelsea's Champions League quarter-final first leg at Fenerbahce tonight after impressing Grant with his display against David Beckham at the Stade de France last Wednesday.
CHELSEA (4-3-3): Cudicini; Essien, Carvalho, Terry, A Cole; Makelele, Lampard, allack; J Cole, Drogba, Malouda.
