Chris Powell's Charlton comeback kings

Chris Powell again highlighted his managerial credentials as Charlton maintained their 100 per cent record under their new boss with a 3-2 win against League One promotion contenders Peterborough on Saturday.

Simple words of encouragement inspired his team as Johnnie Jackson and Bradley Wright-Phillips made it 2-1 after Lee Tomlin's Posh opener before a Kelvin Langmead own goal completed the scoring for Charlton.

Powell said: "I'm extremely pleased we've kept the run going. I want to have a team with a winning mentality and those players showed that. The first half was torturous but you have to keep calm. Every player responded."
