Clyne on way out of Crystal Palace following no-show

The no-show was a further sign that the right-back has no plans to extend his contract with Palace beyond his final year next season and will almost certainly be sold this summer.
While Clyne preferred to stay in Spain, Wilfried Zaha, who is wanted by Fulham in a possible swap deal with Kagisho Dikgacoi, returned from holiday in Egypt to accept the Young Player of the Year award.
Former Palace striker Mark Bright, now a BBC London TV reporter, was incensed by Clyne's decision to stay away from the ceremony. He tweeted: "Very disappointed in Nathaniel Clyne. An insult to the players, management and fans, no show for the POTY awards."
