English FA in talks with Holland to rearrange friendly

The Football Association are in talks with their Dutch counterparts with a view to rearranging England's friendly against Holland in February, it has emerged.

The Wembley match was called off last week after three nights of rioting in London and given that England could be involved in a Euro 2012 play-off in November the next available slot is February 29.

It is understood Poland were keen to host England in a friendly on that date to showcase one of the new stadiums they have built for their co-hosting of Euro 2012.

However, the FA would prefer to play Holland as they are keen to make up for the postponement.
