Five areas giving Fabio Capello cause for concern

Standard Sport looks at the areas which will give him his biggest headache over the next few days...
1. JT and team spirit
Wayne Bridge's decision to withdraw from international football was partly due to his desire not to create a divided England dressing room but it may be too late.
Terry's presence could be unsettling for some members of the squad, especially as three of the Manchester City left back's team-mates are still there.
Capello has already tried to limit the damage by stripping Terry of the captaincy, yet he faces a tough task to restore the strong team spirit that was evident during England's qualifying campaign.
2. Keeper conundrum
It is extremely worrying that there are little more than three months to the World Cup and no one, not even Capello, is 100 per cent sure who will start in goal in South Africa.
The form of Joe Hart means he is set to start his first game for England on Wednesday, but his lack of experience means he is a major doubt to be No1 this summer.
David James and Robert Green don't inspire much confidence either, while Paul Robinson will only be considered as back-up on the bench.
3. Defensive crisis
Once the rock on which all of England's hopes in major competitions were built, it is now in complete disarray due to injuries or lack of form.
Terry has just played three of his worst games for Chelsea; his central defensive partner and replacement as captain Rio Ferdinand is out yet again with a back injury; left-back Ashley Cole is struggling to make the finals at all due to a fractured ankle, while right‑back Glen Johnson has been sidelined for more than two months with a knee injury.
Capello must look at their understudies, but they are squad players for a reason.
4. Right midfield
Capello seemed to have a plethora of options a few months ago but the situation is not so positive now.
The ongoing groin problem for Aaron Lennon has halted his progress while Theo Walcott looks a shadow of the player who scored a hat-trick against Croatia in September 2008.
There are doubts that veteran David Beckham can be effective for 90 minutes and Shaun Wright-Phillips doesn't even start games for Manchester City.
5. Striker
Even if Wayne Rooney recovers from the knee injury that he picked up in the Carling Cup Final to play on Wednesday, Capello must still be worried about who will partner the Manchester United striker.
He prefers Emile Heskey, yet he poses little threat in front of goal as he showed at Wembley yesterday.
Peter Crouch hasn't scored in seven appearances for Tottenham and Carlton Cole has yet to find the net for his country.
That leaves Jermain Defoe but he is seen as an impact substitute and not someone to partner Rooney.
