Freedman plays down drop fears

Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman is not worried by his team's proximity to the relegation zone and is confident they will retain their Championship status.

Darren Ambrose's late penalty secured a point against Derby on Saturday and extended Palace's unbeaten home run to 12 games.

Freedman said: "It was a deserved point. We are not a relegation team, even though we're in that area. I'm not tense, I don't think the players are. Performance wise, we're fine."
