Goals a bonus for Kaspars Gorkss

QPR manager Neil Warnock has been banging on for weeks about his unsung heroes in defence.

And, as if on cue, defender Kaspars Gorkss weighed in with two goals in the 3-0 home win over Doncaster on Saturday.

QPR have conceded just two goals all season — both against Derby at Pride Park.

"The clean sheet record is unbelievable," said Gorkss. "There is an element of luck involved but we're defending well and long may it continue.

"Scoring is a bonus for defenders but more importantly we got the points and are unbeaten."

Despite leading the Championship by six points, QPR attracted only 14,000 at the weekend. Just what do the stayaway fans want?
