Hammers blow it as Chelsea kids win through

West Ham threw away the chance to eliminate favourites Chelsea from the FA Youth Cup when they lost concentration in the dying seconds of injury time last night.
Elliot Lee, the son of former England midfielder Rob, thought he had sent the Hammers through when he pounced brilliantly in the second minute of added time to grab a 3-2 lead in Staines.
But they were caught cold straight from the restart and Chelsea's Tanzanian captain Nathaniel Chalobah tapped into an empty net to force extra-time and a penalty shoot-out.
Top Hammers prospect Dominic Vose lost his nerve at 4-4 in the shoot-out - stopping in his run-up before chipping tamely at 6ft 5ins keeper Jamal Blackman - and Todd Kane hit the winner to set up a quarter-final trip to Nottingham Forest for Adi Viveash's youngsters.
Lewis Baker and Islam Feruz - poached controversially from Celtic - had put Chelsea ahead twice only for Taylor Miles and Blair Turgott to level and set up the dramatic finish.
Fulham, shrewd judges' tip to win the competition, came from behind to clinch a sensational 2-1 win at Manchester City.
City striker Jordi Hiwula gave them a first-half lead at Hyde but two goals from Cauley Woodrow, the winner coming in the 83rd-minute, earned Kit Symons' team a home tie with Burnley.
Symons said: "All the City staff said we deserved it in the second-half after not playing with any genuine belief in the first-half that we could beat a team like Manchester City.'
A third London club will definitely be in the sixth round as Charlton entertain Tottenham tonight at The Valley.
