I’ll take anything, says Ben Strevens

Brentford's Ben Strevens proved strikers will claim anything in the shape of a goal when they're down on their luck.

Charlie McDonald's shot deflected off Strevens for the equaliser at Elland Road and the 30-year-old is adamant it was his goal.

He said: "The gaffer says I need to score more so I'm definitely going to claim it. It ricocheted around and came off me, so I will take anything."

Strevens has to convince Andy Scott he should get the nod over injured Carl Cort. But surely the next goal had better be more conventional!
