Injured Yuri Zhirkov can't set date for Chelsea debut

Yuri Zhirkov doesn't know when he will be ready to make his competitive debut for Chelsea after aggravating a knee injury.

The Russian, an £18million signing from CSKA Moscow, first felt the problem playing against Finland in June and it flared up again during last month's friendly with AC Milan.

"Since that game I've only been running and swimming in the pool," said the versatile left-sided player.
