Kyles at the double as Spurs spend £8m

Tottenham are set to announce their first signings of the summer after agreeing an £8million fee with Sheffield United for defenders Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker.

Naughton and Walker made a big impression at the Championship club and were also targeted by Everton. However, Harry Redknapp won the battle after raising funds with the £8.5million sale of Didier Zokora to Sevilla.

The arrival of £5m-rated Naughton, 20, and Kyle, 19, means Pascal Chimbonda is certain to leave despite saying this week he wanted to fight for a place in the team. Alan Hutton's future is also looking bleak, while Chris Gunter is expected to be loaned to Nottingham Forest.
