Palace produce a gem in Sekajja

Ibra Sekajja. Remember the name. The Under-18 starlet stepped on to the pitch for the first time as a senior player on Saturday and almost immediately scored Crystal Palace's 88th-minute equaliser at Hull.

It was no more than club insiders expected from the teenager after some impressive performances for the Academy side this season.

Sekajja scored two goals in the 4-1 win over FA Youth Cup semi-finalists Chelsea recently and that was enough to get him on the first-team bench.

With Sekajja joining former youth team boys Wilfried Zaha, Sean Scannell and Nathaniel Clyne in the first team, the key for manager Dougie Freedman is keeping hold of Palace's rising stars.
