Spurs look to land Scott Loach to solve keeper crisis

Loach has played 16 times for Watford this season and has become a key man for England during their qualifying campaign for the European Under-21 Championships.
Watford value the 21-year-old at £3million, while Harry Redknapp is keen to secure competition for Heurelho Gomes as Cudicini may not play again this season.
The Spurs boss visited Cudicini in hospital yesterday, and although Redknapp said the Italian was "doing well", the former Chelsea goalkeeper is likely to be on crutches for 12 weeks after injuring both wrists and his pelvis in a road accident last week.
With Cudicini sidelined, veteran former West Ham goalkeeper Jimmy Walker and youngster David Button are the current understudies to Gomes, whose recent form has been excellent.
Spurs have the chance to renew their interest in Ruud Van Nistelrooy after the Real Madrid striker admitted he will try to leave in the transfer window unless he plays more often.
In the summer Redknapp tried to buy the former Manchester United forward, who said: "I want to play. If I have no minutes, I would have a reason to leave in January."
