Takeover delay is a worry for Portsmouth

Portsmouth say they must "sell to keep going" with delays continuing over Sulaiman Al Fahim's takeover.

The switch in ownership from Alexandre Gaydamak looked set to proceed after Al Fahim passed the Premier League's 'fit and proper person' test.

But the deal is not yet certain to be completed and despite selling Peter Crouch and Glen Johnson this sumer there could be more departures.

Executive chairman Peter Storrie said: "Until this takeover happens, neither the old nor new owner is placing any money into the business."
