Yaya Toure rules out Manchester City title challenge

City have spent £80million this summer as they look to improve on last term's fifth-placed finish but the midfielder thinks it will take time for the team to gel.
Toure, who joined from Barcelona for £24m, said: "For the moment what I expect is for the club to go up, maybe finish third or fourth to be in the Champions League qualification.
"After one year with these players maybe we can take the title. For now it is so difficult because with top teams like Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal, they need to work hard to go up."
City, with Toure, drew 1-1 against Club America at the Georgia Dome last night but won 4-1 on penalties.
