Andy Johnson watched his new team-mates in action for the first time at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.
Johnson is finally set to complete his switch from today - in a deal which could go up £13million - and is pencilled in to make his debut at Birmingham on Saturday.
Caught on camera: Andy Johnson poses with Dougie Freedman at his Testimonial match on Tuesday night between Crystal Palace and Fulham - whom Johnson is poised to join.
After completing his medical at Fulham's training ground, Johnson sat behind manager Roy Hodgson as his new side drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace in Dougie Freedman's testimonial.
The England striker was part of a group of Palace legends introduced to the crowd at half-time and was given a standing ovation by both sets of supporters.
Meanwhile, Keith Wyness was in talks with Everton last night over his future as chief executive. He has been linked with a move to Real Mallorca, who are being taken over by Briton Paul Davidson.
Wigan's new £3.5m signing Lee Cattermole starred as his side thumped Barnsley 6-0 at Oakwell.
Cattermole, who moved from Middlesborough early yesterday, was in typically combative mood as a double from Daniel de Ridder and goals from Marlon King, Emile Heskey, Luis Antonio Valencia and Michael Brown saw Wigan ease to a convincing win.
Middlesbrough beat Carlisle 2-1 thanks to goals from Didier Digard and Jeremie Aliadiere.
Danny Carlton replied for Carlisle. Johan Elmander is still waiting for his Bolton debut after last night's friendly at Tranmere was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The £11m Sweden striker - Bolton's record signing - will now have to wait until Friday's clash with Doncaster to make his first appearance for the club.
