Fulham chief Hodgson puts more into his bid for Rosenborg defender Stoor

Wanted: Stoor

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has made an increased bid of £1.8million for Rosenborg defender Fredrik Stoor.

Fulham chiefs are currently in Norway trying to push through a deal.

Moritz Volz is expected to be told he can leave the club once the transfer is finalised.

Meanwhile Thailand's football federation secretary-general Ong-Arj Kosinkar said former Fulham manager Lawrie Sanchez had been 'cast off' as his country search for a new manager.

Thailand have identified former Sunderland manager Peter Reid and Holger Osieck, assistant coach of Germany's 1990 World Cup-winning squad, as candidates to coach the Thai national team, the Daily Xpress newspaper reported.
