Fulham fail in £5m bid for Everton striker Andy Johnson

Fulham have joined the bidding for Andy Johnson but may struggle to prise him away from Goodison Park.

Everton rejected a bid believed to be in the region of £5million and also offered no encouragement to Wigan boss Steve Bruce after he registered his interest in the £8m-rated striker.
