Fulham's Sanchez slams his stars with additional training

Lawrie Sanchez has got tough with his Fulham squad by demanding they come in for extra training ahead of tomorrow's home clash with Newcastle.

The Cottagers squad usually have Wednesday's off but Sanchez has demanded extra sessions in a bid to stop their run of four games without a win.

A source revealed: "The gaffer said we had to put things right on the training pitch so that, hopefully, we can get it right on Saturday."

Lawrie Sanchez: 'Football is a moving feast'

Fulham hover above the relegation zone on goal difference and face a Newcastle side who look vulnerable at present, despite edging past Birmingham with a late winner last weekend.

Sanchez said: "Football is a moving feast and we come home to Newcastle and Wigan next week, two crucial games for us, and we have to get points, there are no two ways about that."
