The 27-year-old, currently on loan at Everton where he has yet to figure for David Moyes' side, is said to be attracting interest from a host of Championship sides.
Injury: Gardner's last Spurs appearance ended in agony
The defender last played for Spurs during their UEFA Cup defeat to Getafe in October last year, a game in which he lasted only 43 minutes before leaving the field with an injury.
Spaniard Ramos is set to launch a clear-out at White Hart Lane at the end of the season in order to free up transfer funds.
Meanwhile, Dimitar Berbatov believes he and Robbie Keane represent the ideal attacking partnership after scoring a hatful of goals between them this season. The Bulgarian said: "We have proved that we work really well together. We understand each other in training and in games."
