The 19-year-old summer capture grabbed a brace in Spurs' 8-0 win over Spanish side Tavernes on Monday and opened the scoring after just eight minutes.

Mexican Giovani scored his second from close range while Tomas Pekhart, Jamie O'Hara (also two each), Aaron Lennon and Steed Malbranque joined him on the scoresheet.
