Hammers may need to sell players to raise cash, warns Zamora

Cash point: Fulham's new signing Bobby Zamora

Bobby Zamora hinted yesterday that West Ham may need to sell more first-team players to raise cash.

Zamora was bought by Fulham in a £6.3million package with defender John Pantsil.

He said: 'West Ham are my club, always will be and I love it to bits. But it's business. The club need money. How much is anyone's guess.'

West Ham's Icelandic owners are said to be under financial pressure from the bank, with keeper Robert Green, who is yet to agree a new deal, Craig Bellamy, Lucas Neill, Anton Ferdinand and Scott Parker all on the list of possible departures.
