Wanted: Obua
West Ham have handed a trial to Ugandan utility man David Obua, who can play both at full back and in midfield.
The 24-year-old, who plays for Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa, says he is 'in need of a new challenge' and would welcome a move to Europe.
The midfielder has recently been linked with a move to Scottish Premier League side Hearts after Laszlo Csaba left his post as manager of Uganda to take up the job at Tynecastle.
Defender Hassan Wasswa from Ethiopian club St George and striker Geoffrey Massa, who plays for Egypt's Al Masra, are all on their way to Edinburgh, according to reports in Africa.
Obua came through US College soccer and is considered one of the best imports in the South African league in recent years.
