Dane Soren Hansen has knocked Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell out of a top-10 spot on the European Ryder Cup list.
And while Hansen's third-place finish in the French Open boosted his hopes of a debut, taking him above not only McDowell but also England's Nick Dougherty, runner-up Colin Montgomerie has moved from outside the top 40 to 14th in the
standings.
The top 10 who would earn places as things stand are Lee Westwood, Miguel Angel
Jimenez, Robert Karlsson, Justin Rose, Sergio Garcia, Martin Kaymer, Henrik Stenson, Oliver Wilson, Hansen and Dougherty.
