Harlequins unveil away strip for first time in 141 years

The club admit traditionalists may disapprove of the new jersey but insist it is necessary to meet Guinness Premiership and Heineken Cup rules requiring a second strip - even though the home shirt of chocolate brown, French grey, magenta and light blue quarters is unlikely to clash with opponents' colours.
Changes: Dave Strettle and Ugo Monye in body paint versions of the strips
Harlequins have kept faith with the quartered design for the away shirt featuring white, magenta and light blue blocks. Chief executive Mark Evans said: "We are extremely pleased with the new designs for the home and away shirts. Everybody is really looking forward to seeing the strips when the season gets started."
The home and away shirts will feature a new sponsor, Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, who have signed a three-year deal.
This is Etihad's first major sporting sponsorship deal in the UK and includes having their name on the roof at The Twickenham Stoop, which is under the Heathrow Airport flight path. The East Stand will be renamed the Etihad Stand.
Evans said: "This is the biggest deal in the club's history and we are greatly looking forward to working closely with Etihad Airways."
Etihad Airways chief executive James Hogan said: "This partnership will provide us with an ideal international platform to connect with our customers in the UK and around the world.î Quins have strengthened their squad by signing South Africa hooker Gary Botha on a three-year deal.
The 25-year-old, who will move to the Stoop after playing at the World Cup, has won nine caps, making his Springboks debut against Australia in 2005. Botha made 16 appearances for the Blue Bulls in this year's Super 14 competition.
Harlequins director of rugby Dean Richards said: "Gary is a very talented player and one everyone at Quins is looking forward to working with him. Aside from having the physicality you expect from a hooker he's also very mobile, and for such a young man he has already shown tremendous leadership qualities with his performances for the Bulls in last year's Currie Cup.
"I am very confident Gary will be a huge success in the Premiership."
Quins have already signed Springbok centre De Wet Barry and Bath outside-half Chris Malone.
