HATCHET MAN: Forget City, Wenger and fear the Real threat to losing Arsenal talisman Fabregas

Real deal: Cesc Fabregas

Arsene Wenger has become the latest member of the Premier League’s dominant  top four to whine about Manchester City’s new found wealth.

After Manchester United’s David Gill protested too much that he didn’t care about the good fortune of his club’s neighbours, the Arsenal manager is insisting his parsimonious board could reject a £135million bid for Cesc Fabregas.

Maybe they would from City because the Spaniard doesn’t want to go there.

But  Wenger knows that if it came from Real Madrid or Barcelona it would be a  different matter and appears to be living in fear of losing his talisman.
