Healy sorry for Celtic flute antics

Fulham striker David Healy has apologised for his flute-playing gesture against Celtic.

The Northern Ireland international pretended to play the instrument in an apparent mimic of an Orange band member during Saturday's friendly.

He said: "I am supposed to be a role model and I can only apologise, I can guarantee from my point of view it will never happen again."

Healy claimed his action was a response to abuse he was receiving from some of the Celtic fans. "It was a silly gesture," he said.
