Hello, I'm your new manager . . .

Queens Park Rangers manager Paulo Sousa met his players for the first time at the club's new training ground in Harlington today.

The former Portugal midfielder spoke with co-owner Flavio Briatore before addressing the players in their dining hall.

Sousa has retained the services of Gareth Ainsworth, who served as caretaker-boss following the exit of Iain Dowie, but the club have parted company with assistant manager Tim Flowers.

The 41-year-old arrived at Rangers in the summer as part of Dowie's new-look backroom staff. A club spokesman said: "We would like to place on the record our thanks to Tim and wish him every success for the future."
