Heskey admits it will be hard for Wigan to prevent Valencia joining United

Emile Heskey says Wigan will struggle to hold onto Antonio Valencia
Emile Heskey admits it will be hard for Wigan to stop Antonio Valencia joining Manchester United, where he could be joined by team-mate Wilson Palacios.

Wigan striker Heskey said: "Antonio's definitely good enough for the top clubs.

"You can't hold anyone back and the gaffer knows that."

Valencia joined Wigan permanently in January having played for nearly 18 months before that in loan spells.

The Latics have bounced back superbly in the second half of the season to stave off the threat of relegation.

They finish their season at the JJB Stadium on Sunday, with a match against Manchester United.
