Point to prove: Beckham with Fabregas at Arsenal training
Wenger made it clear that his arrival will "not become a circus" and that it would not destabilise the Barclays Premier League leaders.
"He will not be playing in any games and will not be registered," insisted Wenger.
"He is just training. We are helping him to work on his fitness and trying to keep it as quiet as possible.
"We don't want to make something complicated out of something that is very simple. He doesn't live far away and has always loved Arsenal, so that's why we are helping him. It will not become a circus.
"We are quite well equipped here to handle it all. We have mirror doors and everything that is needed."
