Hull KR in shock move for Australian legend Lockyer

Hull Kingston Rovers are one of the engage Super League clubs hoping to sign Brisbane Broncos and Australia Test skipper Darren Lockyer.
Rovers coach Justin Morgan said on Tuesday: 'We have expressed an interest in Darren and would love to take it further.
Top target: half of Super League is chasing Lockyer
'The ball is now in his court although I expect we will face competition from other Super League clubs.'
Lockyer, 31, is unlikely to be available until he comes out of contract at the end of next season but is considering a move to Super League before hanging up his boots.
The player's manager George Mimis says that 'five or six Super League clubs are interested in signing Darren.'
St Helens hooker and reigning Super League 'Man of Steel' James Roby insists there is no crisis at the club despite a run of poor results that have dropped them into the bottom half of the table.
'We will be fine,' says Roby. 'We are missing some of our experienced players because of injury and need to get a bit of crunch back in our defence.
'I'm having to take on a lot more responsibility myself with Keiron Cunningham out injured. I was used to starting on the bench and there was nowhere near as much pressure on me as there is now.'
Saints hope to have Cunningham and former Great Britain captain Paul Sculthorpe back for their Carnegie Challenge Cup fourth round tie against London Skolars next week.
Hull FC stand off Richard Horne will have to wear a neck brace for at least six weeks after being injured against Bradford. The club's medical staff will then re-assess his situation. Horne had only just recovered from long-standing foot injury.
Warrington forward Ben Westwood has been banned for one match after being sent off against Wakefield and found guilty of a reckless high tackle.
But his skipper Adrian Morley was cleared to play at Leeds on Friday by the same RFL disciplinary tribunal. They decided to take no further action after finding Morley guilty of a careless high tackle at Wakefield.
And St Helens Test prop Maurie Fa'asavalu, red-carded at Castleford and put on a 'striking' charge, was told his sending off was sufficient punishment.
