Francesco Guidolin said QPR would not have been the 'right choice' for him
Guidolin said: "London fascinates me, but I knew it wasn't the right choice so I didn't consider it."
Meanwhile QPR defender Martin Cranie broke his leg in the 2-1 defeat against Coventry.
The England Under-21 international has played six games since moving on loan from Portsmouth last month but has now returned to Fratton Park.
"Martin has been fantastic since he joined us and it's a real blow," said Rangers physio Paul Hunter.
Cranie wasn't the only QPR casualty last night as Mikele Leigertwood broke his nose while Marc Nygaard suffered a hamstring injury.
