If the price is right, we could sell Shittu, Watford coach Mackay tells Rangers

Watford coach Malky Mackay had admitted "every player has his price" after Rangers expressed an interest in defender Danny Shittu.

Rangers manager Walter Smith wants to bolster his defence with the centre-back, who scored nine goals for the Hornets last season.

Wanted: But Watford's Danny Shittu would cost Rangers "big money".

Mackay told The Daily Mirror: "He is under contract and would be a big-money signing. Whether the club wants to sell, I don't know, but every player has his price."
