I'm not bothered if I'm in charge at Chelsea next season or not, insists Blues boss Grant

Avram Grant has acknowledged he may not be Chelsea manager next season - but he doesn't really care.

Grant was appointed in September to succeed Jose Mourinho after the Portuguese's shock departure and has guided Chelsea to the Champions League final while they were pipped to the Barclays Premier League title by Wednesday's opponents, Manchester United.

However, a number of figures including Frank Rijkaard, Sven Goran Eriksson, Guus Hiddink and Roberto Mancini have all been linked with the manager's job at Chelsea and Grant is not certain to be with the west London club next season regardless of the result in Moscow.

Grant admits there may be changes following the final and said: "If the club is not happy with me, no problem.

"If I'm not happy with them and I want to leave, I don't think they will make any problems either.

"But, for the moment, nothing happens.

"What is going to happen doesn't bother me.

"In football we know what happens. Sometimes the coach doesn't like the team, sometimes the team doesn't like the coach.

"You know when you are at a top club because when we won nine games in a row - which we did to set a record - and then we drew, it was a disaster."

He continued: "We'll talk about next year after the final.

"The target is to win the game, then we will talk about the future.

"But I promise you the future will be very good at Chelsea."
