Evra, 27, who has one year left on his contract and is thought to want £75,000-a-week, said: "Now it's up to the club who know what we have agreed. A lot of clubs are attracted to me as I do a lot on the pitch."

Meanwhile, defender Gerard Pique claims manager Sir Alex Ferguson has blanked him since he agreed a return to Barcelona.

Pique said: "Since I started talking to Barcelona, Ferguson has virtually ignored me."
