Inter Milan stall on Deco and Ricardo Carvalho deal

Deco and Ricardo Carvalho look set to be back at Chelsea next week for pre-season training because Inter Milan are no closer to agreeing a deal for them.

Chelsea will allow both players to leave for a combined fee of around £13million but Inter have so far only offered players in a swap deal, including centre-back Nicolas Burdisso and right-back Maicon.

The Blues are only interested in a straight cash transfer and unless Inter relent then Deco and Carvalho will be on the pre-season tour to the US, which includes a game against the Italian side at the Pasadena Rose Bowl on 21 July.
