Irish ready for World Cup battle

Ireland must beat Argentina in Dublin tomorrow to stay eighth in the rankings which will be used to determine seeds for the 2011 World Cup draw.

They have made three changes from the side beaten by New Zealand, with Geordan Murphy replacing full-back Girvan Dempsey, Jerry Flannery coming in at hooker and Stephen Ferris picked at No8.

Skipper Brian O'Driscoll said: "There's been a lot at stake in the games we've played against Argentina. I've been in World Cup qualifiers before. Essentially that's what this is."
