Joe Calzaghe is counter-suing his former promoter Frank Warren who had lodged a High Court writ seeking £1million for breach of contract.

Calzaghe, the unbeaten world king of the super-middleweight and light-heavyweight divisions, says he is 'saddened and disgusted by what Frank Warren and his company have done'.

Now Calzaghe, the BBC Sports Personality of the Year, is issuing a counter claim for £2m he alleges he is still owed by Warren and Sports Network from his win over American Bernard Hopkins in April.
