John Collins link to Roy Hodgson's Fulham job

John Collins could be on his way back to Fulham if, as expected, they are relegated.

Collins, who spent three seasons with the club from 2000, is understood to be a target to replace Roy Hodgson who has struggled to revive Fulham since replacing Lawrie Sanchez in December.

Defeat at Reading on Saturday could seal Hodgson's fate, with the 60-year-old being moved upstairs to the post of director of football. Collins quit as boss of Hibernian the day before Sanchez was sacked and had been favourite for the job then.
