Johnson fitted up for Cup glory with Cardiff

Roger Johnson's pre-match build up to Sunday's historic victory over Middlesbrough involved watching his wife's DVD on the team coach.

The Cardiff defender's partner Melissa has brought out a keep-fit DVD called 'Wags' Workout'. As a wind-up, his team-mates played it on the team bus before the 2-0 win in which Johnson scored the second goal.

"The lads have been giving me some stick," he said. "It ended up on the team bus but that is how it goes. You have to take it.

"It came out at Christmas and it got to number six. Maybe if I get another goal I can do a cup final DVD. That would be nice.

"Does it go on at home? No it does not. She has her own DVDs, a private collection. She is a make-up artist and does a bit of modelling. She got the opportunity to do it.

"It is good for her and there are not many people who have done that before. It got into the charts and she is happy."

The trip to Wembley for the semi-final clash with Barnsley will bring an opportunity for Johnson to bury the disappointment of watching his beloved Chelsea beaten there in the Carling Cup Final by Spurs last month.
