Jol welcomes back Kaboul for clash with Pirates

Martin Jol says that Younes Kaboul, who was accidentally kicked in the face by striker Shaun Bartlett on Saturday, has recovered from his injury and will be available for Spurs' game against Orlando Pirates in Cape Town tonight.

The £8million defender from Auxerre has been given the all-clear after seeing a dental specialist following his departure in the first minute of the 2-1 win over Kaizer Chiefs.

Jol said: "I am please about Younes because Saturday was only his first real game for us.

"We're here to compete and that means going for wins in every match that we play in.

"Chiefs gave us a tough time and we are expecting the same against Pirates."

Orlando Pirates coach Bibey Mutombo said: "Spurs are a very good side. They proved that on Saturday when they beat Chiefs even though they were not 100 per cent fit.

"Therefore, we are expecting a very tough match. I will be parading our recent new signings and these players' hunger to show South Africa what they can do will give my team a competitive advantage."
