Jordon vows to slay Dowie if he appeals

Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan's legal dispute with former boss Iain Dowie has hotted up again.

Jordan has warned Dowie he will take everything he's got if the former West Ham striker proceeds with an appeal against the decision of the High Court this summer, which found Dowie guilty of 'fraudulent misrepresentation'.

Action man: Jordan has now issued another writ against Dowie

The Palace chairman claims Dowie agreed a settlement with him after complaining he couldn't afford to pay the £1m in damages plus costs, only to back out when he was granted an appeal.

He has now issued another writ against Dowie for failing to pay the agreed compensation and said: "My advice to Iain is this: if this writ doesn't stick and you drag me through another appeal, there will be no mitigation, I won't negotiate. I will take everything I can.

"If I have to prove it again I will be a lot, lot angrier than the first time around.

"I have got a list as long as the Magna Carta of things I can say about him."
